With summer right around the corner now is the time to work on building your upper body strength. Soon you will be breaking out those bathing suits and wearing tank tops and strapless dresses!
Using a handful of simple exercises you can define the muscles in your arms. Many people don’t also realize that while working to tone your arm muscles, you can also strengthen your back and build the size of your shoulders. Doing this will help better define your waist and has a slimming effect.
Complete the four exercises below in the gym or in the comfort of your own home with a band, dumbbells or a water jug. Be consistent and incorporate these workout into your routine twice a week. Remember to not rush through these simple yet effective exercises. We recommend completing each exercise, one arm at a time to really feel the burn and focus on your form. Complete 4 sets and 10 reps of each exercise. No rest between each of the 4 exercises and rest 60 seconds after each set.
